Psalm 37:23-24Verse of the Day
“The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the Lord holds them by the hand.”Psalm 37:23-24 (NKJV)
How does it feel to know that the God of the universe delights in every detail of your life? It’s not hard to accept that He cares about what you think are the most important aspects of your life, but everything about you is important to Him.
For a child of God, life is not random. God is constantly orchestrating and directing the events in our lives even when we don’t see it. The steps of the righteous are ordered by God.
Verse 24 reminds us that being directed by God does not mean we will never stumble. Stumbles are part of the process. They are often the trials God uses to shape us and strengthen our faith. When you stumble, just trust him because he won’t let you fall. We’re sustained by Him. It’s the grip of His hands that holds us from falling.
Trust God today to direct you in every area of your life.
