2 Peter 1:3Verse of the Day
“By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvellous glory and excellence.”2 Peter 1:3 (NKJV)
Many believers live as though something is missing. We pray for more strength, grace, and ability, as if God has only given us a portion and is holding back the rest. But this verse tells us something powerful: by His divine power, God has already given us everything we need for living a godly life.
We receive this by coming to know Him. The deeper your relationship with God, the more you grow into what He has already provided. This is not about striving to earn something new, but about walking in what has already been made available through Christ.
You are not under-equipped for your calling. You are not lacking what is necessary to grow, obey, and live in a way that honours God. Through His power and through knowing Him, everything you need has already been given. Hallelujah!
