Lamentations 3:25Verse of the Day
“The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him.”Lamentations 3:25 (NKJV)
Waiting is not easy. When you’re in need or expecting direction, you want answers fast. But God calls us to wait—not passively, but with intention. Waiting on God is active.
First, seek Him. Like a deer longs for water, your heart should pursue Him. Not just for what He can give, but for who He is. Waiting becomes easier when your focus is on Him.
Second, trust Him. There will be moments when things don’t make sense. Your understanding will be limited. But waiting requires that you lean on God, not your own reasoning. Trust that He knows what He’s doing.
Third, listen and obey. Waiting is not silence on your part—it’s attentiveness. God speaks through His Word, through His Spirit. When He gives instruction, respond quickly. Delayed obedience can slow down what God wants to do.
Waiting is not a waste of time. It is a place of preparation.
God works in you while you wait. He strengthens you, aligns you, and builds your faith. And when the time comes, you will move with strength that is not your own.
Those who wait on Him don’t end up weak or empty. They are renewed. They rise above challenges. They keep going without giving up.
So don’t rush ahead. Stay with Him. Wait.
Are you struggling to wait on God in any area of your life? Ask Him to help you seek Him more deeply, trust Him fully, and stay sensitive to His voice. Pray for strength and patience as you wait, knowing that He is working in you and for you.
