NKJVVerse of the Day
“Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; [2] But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night.”
Psalm 1:1-2 (NKJV)
The counsel of the ungodly is, simply put, any way that is not aligned with God’s way. It may seem right or commonsensical, but if it is not God’s way, it is ungodly.
The only way to avoid following ungodly counsel is to delight in God’s Word and meditate on it daily. How else can you identify ungodly counsel if you do not know what godly counsel is for you?
Seek God’s Word and let it guide you.
