Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV)Verse of the Day
“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV)
There are moments when you want clear answers before you take the next step. You want to know how everything will work out, what the right timing is, and whether the path ahead will be safe. But wisdom does not always begin with having every detail. Wisdom begins with trusting the Lord more than you trust your own understanding.
Trusting God is an art of daily surrender. Your thoughts, feelings, plans, and opinions can be limited. God sees what you cannot see. He knows the road ahead, the condition of your heart, and the purpose He is shaping in you.
To acknowledge Him in all your ways means you bring God into every part of your life. You acknowledge Him in your decisions, your conversations, your schedule, your relationships, your quiet thoughts, and your hidden worries. You pause long enough to ask, “Lord, does this honour You? Am I following Your wisdom or only my own preference?”
God’s promise is not that every path will feel easy. His promise is that He will direct you. He can correct your steps, steady your heart, close the wrong doors, open the right ones, and teach you to walk with discernment. Today, you do not have to carry the pressure of figuring everything out alone. You are invited to trust the One who leads faithfully.
Before making any decision today, ask God to help you choose what honours Him, not just what feels easiest or fastest.
Lord, teach me to trust You with my whole heart. Help me not to depend only on what I can see or understand. Lead my steps, correct my desires, and help me acknowledge You in every part of my life. Direct my path today according to Your wisdom. Amen.
