Psalm 118:6Verse of the Day
“The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: What can man do unto me?”Psalm 118:6 (KJV)
This verse paints a picture of a kid who gets bullied by older kids but is now moving with his father, walking through the midst of the bullies with his head held high and raising his shoulders, saying, “My daddy is with me, you can't do anything to me”!
That is the kind of confidence that understanding that God is on our side brings. You feel empowered to face any situation and square up to the devil on any matter. It's knowing that He will neither leave us nor forsake us.
It's also a source of comfort while we go through turbulence in life, that God is with us in that moment. Even though we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, we will fear no evil, for God is with us! Hallelujah!
Say out loud to yourself as many times as you can, “God is with me, I will not be afraid”
