Daniel 3:18Verse of the Day
“But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up.”Daniel 3:18 (NKJV)
There’s a saying that if you stand for everything, you stand for nothing. To truly stand, you must know what you believe and be willing to hold on to it, no matter the cost.
The three Hebrew boys made that choice. Even when they were threatened with the fiery furnace, they refused to bow.
There will be moments when your values are tested. Moments when it would be easier to blend in, stay quiet, or go along with what everyone else is doing. But standing for what is right requires courage. It requires you to choose God over comfort, truth over approval.
“Stand up, stand up for Jesus, Ye soldiers of the cross; Lift high His royal banner, It must not suffer loss.”
This is a call to be firm in your faith. Not loud for the sake of it, but steady and unshaken. A life that stands for God will look different, and that’s okay.
Are there areas where you’ve been tempted to compromise your beliefs? Ask God to strengthen your conviction and give you courage to stand firm. Pray for the grace to choose what is right, even when it’s difficult or unpopular.
