Isaiah 55:11Verse of the Day
“It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.”Isaiah 55:11 (NKJV)
Picture this. Jesus had spent over three years in ministry, preaching, teaching, and performing miracles. He had also spoken about His death and resurrection on the third day. What may have seemed like distant or symbolic words suddenly began to unfold in real time.
He was arrested, and things escalated quickly that before they could fully process it, He was on the cross, treated like a criminal. Next thing He was dead and now buried.
Now comes the moment of silence…
The long, quiet moment in between where you are and the fulfilment of God’s Word.
“Will He really rise as He said?” “What if He doesn’t?” You can imagine the disciples asking themselves these questions, lying awake that night, restless and confused. Everything they had believed in now felt uncertain. What happens next if this were the end? Some of them likely questioned everything: their decision to follow Him, the years they had given, the hope they had built.
Does this feel familiar?
Have you ever been in that kind of moment—waiting on God’s promise, but everything around you looks like the opposite is happening? It feels like you’re right at the edge, like things could fall apart at any time.
But the Bible reminds us that God’s word does not fail. It does not return to Him empty. It always accomplishes what He has sent it to do.
That silent moment is not the end of the story.

The empty grave is proof that God’s Word didn’t fail then, and it won’t fail now. Has He said it? Then He will do it.
So when you find yourself in the “in-between,” hold on. Even when it’s quiet, God is still working.
Are you in a waiting season where God feels silent? Hold on to His word today. Ask Him to strengthen your faith and remind you that even in the silence, He is faithful to fulfill His promises.
