Psalm 103:1-5Verse of the Day
“Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits.”Psalm 103:2 (KJV)
It is easy to remember what is missing and forget what God has already done. Gratitude helps your heart slow down and notice His mercy. It teaches you to pay attention to grace.
David speaks to his own soul and tells it not to forget. This is important because forgetfulness can weaken worship. When you remember God’s forgiveness, healing, redemption, kindness, and provision, your heart is drawn back to praise.
Today, name specific things God has done for you. Thank Him for both the obvious blessings and the quiet mercies you may have overlooked.
