2 Timothy 1:7Verse of the Day
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV)
Fear does not come from God. It may feel real and strong, but it is not from Him. God does not plant fear in your heart. He gives something completely different—power, love, and a sound mind.
Think about what fear does. It makes you shrink back when you should step forward. It makes you doubt when you should trust. It makes you react out of panic instead of wisdom. The moment fear takes the lead, power fades. Love becomes harder to show. And your thinking becomes clouded.
God’s Spirit in you is bold. It helps you stand firm even when things are uncertain. It helps you choose love when it’s not easy. It gives you clarity when everything feels confusing.
So when fear shows up, don’t allow it stay. Find faith in God’s word and begin to operate in power, love and a sound mind.
Where has fear been limiting you lately? Be honest about it. Ask God to help you reject fear and walk fully in the power, love, and clarity He has already given you.
