1 Corinthians 6:17Verse of the Day
“But whoever is united with the Lord is one with him in spirit”1 Corinthians 6:17 (NKJV)
One of the most powerful truths of the Christian life is our union with God. Whoever is united with the Lord is one with Him in spirit. This is not a distant relationship. It’s a deep spiritual union made possible through Christ.
When you received Christ, you were not simply given a new belief system. You were joined to Him. His life became your life. His Spirit now lives in you. This means you are never alone, never separated, and never without divine help.
Many believers still see God as far away, as though they must constantly strive to reach Him. But the reality of the gospel is that God has already brought us near. Through Christ, we have been united with Him. His presence is not something we experience occasionally; we carry Him everywhere.
This truth changes how we live. If we are one with Him, then His wisdom is available to guide us. His strength is available when we feel weak. His grace empowers us to live the life He has called us to live.
Today, remember that your life is not separate from God. You are united with Him. Walk in that confidence. Depend on His presence within you and allow His life to be expressed through yours.
Do you live with the awareness that you are united with the Lord?
Ask God to help you grow in the understanding of this truth. Pray for grace to live each day conscious of His presence and power at work in you.
