Jeremiah 33:3Verse of the Day
““Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.””Jeremiah 33:3 (NKJV)
Picture a small child alone in their room. Something startles them, or maybe they just need comfort. They cry out, “Daddy!”
In the next room, the father hears that voice. It does not matter what he is doing. He may be tired. He may be busy. But when he hears his child call, he moves. The call of his child touches him. He responds because his baby is calling.
If imperfect, flawed men can be moved by the voice of their children, how much more our heavenly Father? God is not distant, and your voice does not burden him. When you call to Him, He hears, and He will answer.
Jeremiah 33:3 is an invitation. Call to Me. Not when you have everything figured out. Not when your prayer sounds polished. Just call, like the cry of a newborn yearning for its mother’s milk.
And He promises to answer. That answer may not always be immediate, but He’s always on time. Even when it appears He is not answering, He is working. He sees what you cannot see. He is arranging what you do not yet understand. And in due time, you will see the great and mighty things you did not know.
So call on Him. Your Father hears. And He will answer.
