Guard Your Heart

Your heart is not just about emotions. It is the control centre of your life.

Scripture says to guard your heart with all diligence because everything flows from it. Your thoughts, decisions, words, and actions are shaped from within. If the heart is healthy, life reflects it. If it is polluted, the effects will show.

We are careful with things we consider valuable. We lock our doors. We protect our phones with passwords. We secure important documents. Yet, the heart, which determines the direction of our lives, is often left unguarded.

Guarding your heart requires intentionality. It means filtering what you allow to influence you. It means rejecting thoughts that contradict God’s truth. It’s choosing forgiveness over resentment and faith over fear.

When your heart is aligned with God’s Word, your life flows in the right direction. Peace replaces anxiety. Wisdom guides decisions. Stability anchors you even in uncertain times.
