1 Thessalonians 5:18Verse of the Day
“In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”1 Thessalonians 5:18 (NKJV)
It is easy to be thankful when things are going well. When prayers are answered, and everything seems to fall into place, gratitude comes naturally.
But when things are uncertain or not going as expected, thanksgiving can feel difficult. The tendency is to focus on what is missing or what is not working.
It is God’s will for us to give thanks in all situations, good or bad. Giving thanks keeps your heart aligned with God’s purpose and reminds you that He is still present and at work in your life.
Today, make a deliberate choice to give thanks. No matter the situation, find a reason to be grateful. It is one of the ways you stay grounded in God’s will.
What can you thank God for today, even in the midst of challenges?
Take a moment to express gratitude to Him. Ask for the grace to maintain a thankful heart in every season.
