Luke 16:10Verse of the Day
“He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much.”Luke 16:10 (NKJV)
Jesus makes it clear that how you handle little things is important. In fact, the manner in which you respond to seemingly small responsibilities is indicative of how you would handle bigger responsibilities. Faithfulness is not proven when everything is big and visible. It is revealed in the unseen, in the ordinary, in the things no one applauds.
God first proves our faithfulness with the little he gives us before he entrusts us with bigger things. Basically, little things are a pathway to bigger things. When you are faithful with little, you are building character, discipline and integrity.
So don’t ignore where you are. Don’t wait for something bigger before you give your best. What you do with what you have now matters more than you think.
Today, choose to be faithful in the little. God sees it, and in time, He rewards it.
Are there small responsibilities you’ve been taking lightly?
Ask God to help you stay consistent and faithful, even in the unseen. Pray for the discipline to handle what you have well as you prepare for more.
