Bible Reading
1 Peter 2:9Verse of the Day
“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvellous light.”1 Peter 2:9 (NKJV)
As believers in Christ, we have been called and set apart for God’s glory. He has brought us into His light so we can shine. This is a privilege that we must not take lightly. It’s also a responsibility because God is entrusting us to represent Him well as ambassadors on earth.
That means we cannot live casually.
Being called means living with intention. It means choosing what honours God, even when it’s not popular. It means showing His character—love, truth, patience, and integrity—in everyday life.
God has entrusted you with this role. Not because you are perfect, but because He has called you.
So live like it.
Are you living with the awareness that you represent God? Ask Him to help you take your calling seriously. Pray for the grace to live in a way that reflects His light and points others to Him.

Reflection
The way we live, speak, and relate with others should reflect who He is. People may not read the Bible, but they will see our lives. And through us, they form an understanding of God.
